March 27 2020My first online class during Isolation. I had a little test run before the class with my granddaughter and it seemed to be working. It felt so weird talking to a camera, and imagining everyone there. But we got through it. Human beings are so adaptable. I love that my daughter Mikhala is doing the class with me.
|
March 28 2020Beach Yoga is in hibernation and all classes are currently live and online. I'm visualising my friends joining us, and I know that we will eventually get back together.
|
March 28 2020Okay so this one went sideways and I don't know why? But I'm posting it anyway cause this is what we did and we don't wait for perfection we just do it anyway. If you're wondering why we are laughing so much at the beginning of class, it's because we were about to do back rolls and I suggested to my husband that he turn so his butt wasn't facing the camera. He said it was a good thing he wasn't wearing his shorts with the holes. lol.

March 30 2020Our live yoga class from 6am Monday 30th March 2020. It starts 10 minutes after the video starts recording. As with every yoga class, honour love accept and respect your body just as you are and move into each posture with love and gentleness. This is the first recorded indoor class I've done without any one in my family joining me. Haha. They all slept in. It was a bit different, I kept having to visualise the beach, the people I love, knowing you were all with me. Our usual Beach Yoga class is in hibernation until the Corona passes through. In the meantime, join us live from Facebook or you can catch the recording. Here are some more details.

April 01 2020A 20 minute sequence of Sun Salutations,
I often look for a shorter yoga session when I'm travelling or I'm running out of time, so here is a 20 minute sequence I do. I try to incorporate stretch and strength postures in all of my sessions to help me stay centred and strong. This sequence includes some softer options if you have any injuries, and of course, practise all yoga with utmost respect for your mind body spirit and only do what is right for you in this moment. Love, honour accept and approve of yourself, just as you are. During this time, I am teaching all of my classes online, you are welcome to join me |
April 02 2020My sisters birthday!
Join me for Yoga in isolation as I do live yoga classes 5 mornings a week. You can log on through my facebook page for the live classes, or watch them later on FB or YouTube. All my yoga classes are hatha based, some vinyasa, sometimes yin. It always depends of the current vibration as to what I teach. I am all about loving and accepting ourselves and each other, and raising our vibrations to its highest frequency. It is through our higher vibrations that we manifest our health, prosperity and freedom. We can have what we desire if we have the frequency, and we must attain that higher frequency. |
April 03 2020I have been teaching Beach Yoga for 11 years, and since the Corona Crises I've been teaching online indoors for my yoga students and new friends who have tuned in. Today I snuck down to the beach and did a solitary class so we could watch the sunrise online together. It was so beautiful and wonderful to be doing yoga on the beach again. Hopefully this restriction will be lifted soon and all will be well again. It's up to us to keep raising our vibrations and remaining well and positive, and to use our power to manifest a wonderful future.
|
April 04 2020Live yoga class from my facebook page Beach Yoga at Redcliffe Margate. I think I might need to brush my hair before class. But it's so early! You are welcome to join me for yoga. 7 classes a week until the end of April and then 5 classes a week. All live. LET'S GET THROUGH ISOLATION BETTER THAN HOW WE WENT INTO IT. Okay? Okay. Good. See you on the mat.
|
April 04 2020Live Class with Monica Batiste and my beautiful daughter Mikhala. All classes are different, do each posture with the utmost respect for your mind body and only what is right for you. Love yourself. We are going to get through this.
|
April 06 2020We've been teaching Beach Yoga for 11 years so it's become quite the shock to be isolating. We want to continue our classes, so we are doing them 'together' online. You are welcome to join us. Some of our friends are taking these classes at the beach in their own space. Some people are outside, and some people in their pyjamas in their rooms.

April 07 2020Mum's 89th Birthday. We were going to have a surprise party. SURPRISE! No party. Let's hope we can do a 90th next year.
Usually we have about 18 to a sunrise class. We still do, only 16 were watching from home and I went to the beach with Lisa Parella. My one person I am allowed to be with at one time. We kept our distance, as you can see. Sunrise yoga is fantastic for activating your Pineal gland. Your pineal gland absorbs the full spectrum of light, and that light activates your morning hormones to set your body clock that 'this is morning, let's wake up now'. Just like the darkness activates melatonin and helps put you to sleep. You will also get a boost of happy hormones and immune support. This work is important because YOU are important. When you bring yourself into alignment with your spirit everything works better; your health, your happiness, your mind, body and spirit. Please keep loving yourself and taking affirmative action to support yourself because the world is a better place with you in it. Love Monica |
April 09 2020It's almost easter and all of our party plans have had to be cancelled. But we still have our minds, breath, and opportunity to visualise. The more we see things the way we want them, the faster it happens. My yoga classes on the beach have been cancelled for now, but we can still do yoga. I'm running my beach yoga timetable during this time and you can join us live from Facebook for any class, or catch up later on FB or YouTube. I'm spending each day tuning into my energetic system and aligning with my highest intention. It's the only way I'm going to get through this, and I encourage you to do the same. Love. Honour. Accept. Thrive. Breathe. Create a beautiful energetic system around you and use that to guide you. Namasté beautiful friends. See you on the outside soon.

April 10 2020Sunrise yoga this morning at Scarborough beach during isolation. A beautiful morning. It started to rain so I moved to an undercover table and then it rained some more. Just like our usual beach classes there were distractions and people walking by and rain. That's life. We will always have distractions. The best thing we can do is learn how to stay in our own presence no matter what. Sure it would be less distracting to be at home, but then, we would miss the sunrise, the birds, the ocean waves and the opportunity to strengthen our ability to stay peaceful. Sometimes the beach. Sometimes at home. We are where we are during this time, and we can find something peaceful to focus on no matter what. Keep looking for things to appreciate and focus on that bring you to a better feeling place and this will allow you to have a continual flow of inner peace.
|
April 11 2020Beginners - Intermediate Yoga with mindfulness and meditation. Join me for Yoga during isolation 5 mornings a week live from Facebook and later posted to YouTube. It's so important for us to stay focused on our strengths at this time. We need to strengthen our energetic system so that we are strong, centred, peaceful and prepared. I am a yoga teacher, author and artist. I am doing my best to get through this too, teaching yoga helps me do this, you joining me for classes helps us both. Namasté

11th April 2020Early morning class Saturday 11th April. We are in isolation, and tonight would have been mum's 89th birthday party. Instead we are lucky to be able to visit her and bring her groceries. Last night I had trouble sleeping and woke up this morning sad. I am using all my focus to stay strong. All the techniques I use during my classes is to help me and you stay centred, peaceful and strong. It's so important we are mindful of our alignment. Our strength is in our alignment. Solutions are found in peace. Keep your energetic system bright and beautiful, powerful and focused; that way we will thrive in this time and emerge better and happier and healthier than how we went into it. I will do an EFT on strengthening our energetic system this weekend, and if we do it everyday we will expand our personal power and be a magnetic for all that is good. Thanks for inspiring me and travelling with me. Namastë

April 13 2020Early morning yoga class with my daughter Mikhala. One of the benefits of everything slowing down is time spent with my family. She's out of bed early to yoga with me. Blessed. Beach Yoga classes are all online for now. Classes are held at the usual times on our Facebook page and later posted to YouTube. You and your family and friends are invited to join me.

April 13 2020EFT Emotional Freedom Technique; Resilience from EMF, negative energies, entities.
During covid I've dropped into fear and despair. With the help of my friends, shamanic healing and EFT I have been able to find a better place. One thing I know for sure is SOLUTIONS are found in PEACE, not stress. So the best thing we can do for ourselves is find peace. This is an EFT sequence I've been doing every time I feel affected. I've been tapping on strengthening my energetic system / auric field / personal electromagnetic field so that I have personal power and resilience towards all negative waves, energies and entities. I am feeling much better. So I wanted to share it with you so you can use this and create your own tapping sequence to suit your peace. It's more important than ever to find peace. Peace is where the solutions lie. Tap everyday. Namaste |
April 13 2020Beach yoga is in isolation during covid, so all classes are held online. Some of my friends go to the beach on their own to watch from their phone. I'm usually in my studio, but sometimes I get to go to the beach to record a live class. All classes are different and go with the flow of the day. All classes have easy options. Do the best you can. That's all you can ask of yourself.
|
April 14 2020Catching the sunrise and sungazing with our Live Yoga Class. It was so great to be at Suttons beach again. Funny too because two of our yoga friends were at our usual spot watching me online. My husband is home this week so he joined me. We forgot an extra mat. Doesn't matter. We do the best we can with what we've got every day. That's life. That's yoga.
|
May 15 2020Our final class during lockdown phase one. I don't know if there'll be a phase two. I hope not. I'm praying for a resolution and for our lives to move forward to a stronger and more hopeful place. I am going to continue to record classes, and you will find the next phase, 'Live Classes after Isolation' on the next page.
May 12 2020Yoga on the sand. Such a great idea! The waves were beautiful, we didn't get washed away. The sunrise was awesome. Hardly any distractions. Next week we might try the whole class on here!
|
May 14 2020Thursdays class under the trees. In only two days we will be back with our class. I'm already seeing people doing my class from their devices on the beach not too far from where I am. We have some brain activations in this one. It's so important to keep our brains active and growing.
May 11 2020Monday morning counting down to being allowed 10 people at class.
|
May 09 2020Saturday morning 7.30 class. We do some brain gym and balancing with standing yoga postures then some stretching. It's one week before our Beach Yoga classes are back at the beach. We can have 10 people. so that's 9 students plus me. Bookings are essential, but I am still recording them, so feel free to jump online and watch.
|
May 08 2020Yoga with Monica and my dear Friend Lisa Parella. We ventured out onto the sand this morning at Suttons beach. What a great idea that was. So beautiful being beside the lapping ocean and the sunrise. Not too hot being Autumn. We did a pineal activation at sunrise. A meditation at the end, and yoga in between. All classes are different and each posture will support you in more ways than you know. Yoga supports your hormones and brain balance. Yoga builds neuroplasticity. Meditation helps to heal the brain and in turn, repairs memory. Balance postures are particularly important for us to build brain connections so that when we begin to fall, our balance can be corrected and we don't fall. The deep breathing we do throughout the class helps to keep our vibrations high and our healing imminent. No matter your size or age or abilities, there is something you can do with yoga. Namaste Friends. See you at the next live class. Monica

May 05 2020
Australian cold at the beach this morning. A soft breeze. Some council workers showed up half way through and starting putting out witches hats, I thought we might be asked to move. They had an excavator with them and they waited until 7 to start. So we were good. There are a few pockets of people with their iphones watching my class on the beach. It's nice. I love sharing my work. I hope that you are staying tuned to your vibration and keeping yourself safe and strong and in a high vibrational place where all the ideas and love and solutions show up. See you for our next live class. Monica

Easy yoga for mind body soul at Suttons beach in Redcliffe Australia. Due to isolation I can have one person with me, and today I have my lovely husband who kinda sorta wanted to go for coffee instead but because he loves me came to my yoga class. I did pigeon pose for him, because he loves it. Now this is the first class since we started that i did not slip in a new posture. I think. I might have to check on one that might have yes or no. But. Still. I hope you are doing all the classes and writing down the introduced posture because there will be a big prize at the end. The big prize IS.... You're new and improved mind body from doing all the yoga classes. Haha. don't laugh. it's a real gift. I hope you do do lots of yoga and lots of meditation because the answer to all of your questions is found in your peaceful mindful state and not in stress. I can promise you that. Solutions are found in peace. I hope you take lots of deep breaths today. Have a wonderful day. Monica

Autumn is getting cool. A jumper and beanie for the first time today. Did you find the new posture? See if you can find the new posture I introduce into every class. It's a little game I play for myself, and so far, no-one has named any. haha. Well, i'm off to have a social distancing coffee and then home for a quick breakfast and back for the 845. I hope you are staying safe and peaceful and happy. Keep breathing. Monica

It was so windy during the night I decided to film our class from home. Turns out there was no wind at Suttons beach and it was beautiful. I'm addicted to doing a golden light meditation at the end of classes because it feels so right to be sending energy into the universe to help us move to a higher and better place. Do you know which posture I introduced today? Take care. Monica
|
A bit of a challenge in the beginning but we got through. We couldn't use the table because they were playing music so we found a flat spot near our usual spot and did the class entirely on the mat. No standing postures today, and I introduced two postures that we hadn't done since beginning these recordings, see if you know which two they are. I never announce them in the class, so you'll just have to know because you've done all the others. :) Thanks for joining me. I will see you at the beach soon. Monica

April 28 2020No sunrise this morning because of cloud coverage. A sprinkle of rain which finds me hiding under a tree. I had my one friend with me, but over yonder was another friend live streaming, so i included her in my background. Stay well and happy friends. See you Thursday Monica x
|
April 27 2020I did the second class this morning at home in my Yoga and Art Studio. My girls went for a walk, so it was just me at home. I imagined all of my friends watching. I imagined all of the people in the future that might be watching, and I hope that I am of benefit to you. During these times, I am finding myself falling into fear about the future, so I am doing a lot of EFT and Golden Light meditations to keep bringing myself back up to peace and empowerment. The power inside us is magnified when we are in alignment with our spirit, and meditation will help us get there. The more empowered we are, the better things will be for all of us. Thank you for being one of the golden shiny lights that bring our planet to a better and more peaceful, whole, and healthy place. Namaste. Monica

April 27 2020Yoga at Suttons beach this morning. Lisa did the class with me, and over yonder where the green grass grows were two more friends. Following my class on their phones. Class was lovely. Beautiful morning. A little distracting but therein lies another opportunity to use all reasons to go deeper into my own breath and find peace. It's easy to find peace when it is peaceful. Strengthening your ability to find peace means when things are not easy - peace can still be found. Yesterday some restrictions were released, and we can now go get a massage. I contacted Kelly immediately, presuming I'd be the first. But no. I was the 20th. haha. So i've got an appointment and I'm happy about that. We can also go on a picnic now, which means we can sit on the grass for the purpose of pleasure. Yey. No more wearing runners everywhere so that when law enforcement drives by we do squats and pushups. I'm joking of course. I can't even do a full push-up (yet. Recovery is imminent). See you next class friends. Thanks for joining me. Monica x

April 24 2020We begin with some releasing of tension and move into sun gazing as the sun rises. All yoga classes go with the flow of what is in the moment. You may have noticed that in every isolation class I introduce a new posture. If you know what today's introduced posture is, write it in the comments. A bit like 'Where's Wally' except it's 'Which Posture?' lol. Hope you're all doing well. I miss seeing you at the beach. Monica

April 23 2020At Suttons beach this morning, this is where we always do our class. It was lovely to be there. Breezy, warm, peaceful. Ahhhhh. Exactly what we need. The thing is ... we want to be able to find peace no matter where we are or what we are doing by focusing on our breath. The more often we strengthen our capacity to find peace, the easier it is to find. This is why we don't seek the perfect environment, because that's life. People will distract you. Cars will rev their engines. Dogs will come by. We seek to strengthen our resilience and raise our vibrations higher and higher. Sometimes it rains during class and we focus on allowing the water to wash away our troubles. When it's windy we let the wind take what is needed to release. And when it is perfect we soak that up. Sometimes, the weather is warm, the breeze is soft, dolphins swim by, and people are scarce. On those days we lift ourselves even higher. And that's because we've practised finding the peace every day under all conditions. I hope you enjoy our classes as much as we do. I am sending you love, wherever you are. Please give yourself some love too. Love is such a beautiful vibration. Namaste. Monica

April 21 2020In the studio for yoga with my gorgeous daughter. Mikhala's pug Cash joined in and climbed over us. He's very cute. During isolation I've noticed lots of friends doing yoga with their pets. I think pets and children are enjoying this extra time with their parents. Every class I add an exercise we've not had before in the isolation recordings. The first month was easy. Now I'm needing to think. See if you know which one is in this class.

At the beach. I haven't done a class at the top of Suttons beach for a long time. Now I know why. It's beautiful - but so distracting. I can hear every car that comes through and it seemed like people hadn't seen someone do yoga before. Especially not seen someone do yoga and speaking loudly to no-one there. lol. So I got a few looks, but hey, I wasn't talking to myself, I was talking to YOU. And I know you were there. I could see you in my third eye. You were doing great. You ARE doing great. You're great. Keep being you. That's all you need to do. Love as always. Monica

Early morning yoga class at Suttons Beach. The sunrise is so beautiful it's worth the trip to the beach. It was funny today, because we are 'social distancing' no-one is allowed to do the class with me. Usually I will get about 10 on a Monday 6am. But two friends were at the beach near me, doing my class, from their phones. Not looking at me. Such a contrast to our friendly group that congregate at sunrise to breathe and align and be well. STILL it's awesome. Just to be there, and I really do 'see' everyone in my mind as I teach the class. Thanks for your support Friends. I heart you. Monica
|
Cash began the class with me. Aren't pets wonderful. Do you do yoga with your pets or children too? This class begins standing and I am focusing as much as I can on what we want... the peace, the joy, the happiness, the improvement of health, the love... as we focus on what we want, it grows. So lets keep remaining focused on the new and wonderful life and world we are moving towards. Stay safe. Love. Monica.

Early morning class in my studio with the softest rain sprinkling outside. This class is all on the mat. Stretching and a little strength at the end with 3 x 1 minute planks. Easy options for postures, and with all postures honour yourself in the moment of what you need and want. I hope you're all doing okay. Monica
|
On my own this morning, although there were three friends doing yoga via their phone on the beach nearby. Another spectacular sunrise where we have the opportunity to sun gaze and activate our pineal. Lovely at the end doing meditation by the sea. All classes have easy options. I hope you are doing okay, where ever you are. Monica

A beautiful morning at Suttons beach in Redcliffe, as I teach our Thursday 8.45 Yoga class. There is some EFT at the beginning of the recording. In the middle of the class my gorgeous daughter and daughter in-law walk by and surprised me. Fun. Love. You can join in on any of our yoga classes, they are all beginner to intermediate. They are live classes so expect there to be flaws and changes. Like life. And that's why I don't edit the video or edit myself, because we are all like this, and the sooner we can express ourselves 'anyway'. Not despite of, but because of, who we are, the sooner we will shine. Shine on Friends. The world is depending on you being you. Monica
